What Is Panchakarma

img

Panchakarma is made off two words, Panch (Five) and Karma (Action). The detoxification or purification of the whole body through five actions is known as Panchkarma. Panchakarma consists from five types of therapeutic methods which are mainly eliminative in action. It boosts up immune system and keeps it free from diseases.

The purpose of Panchakarma is the detoxification or purification of the whole body. Basically, Panchakarma is a procedure that restores the balance in the physiology through cleaning the body from toxins and undigested residues, called Ama in Ayurveda, that accumulate in the body channels through unnatural or harmful life habits or contaminated food and air. The Vaidya will prescribe to you a certain sequence of treatments (Panchakarma) and, when necessary, special ayurvedic herbal preparations to achieve best results.

If you feel the need to adjust your treatment plan or the way your treatment is being administered to you, please consult first the Vaidya. Our treatment staff is instructed to implement any changes of a particular treatment only after a confirmation by the Vaidya.
